Tonight the Art with
Heart team girls are sharing some creative projects by adding texture with
embossing. Embossing can add a lovely dimension, and with our wonderful
Stampin’ Up! products, we can create many different looks. These include Heat
embossing using embossing powder, dry embossing using our textured folders or
by adding embossing paste!
I have used two in one!! I have used the embossing paste(141979) in the Pinewood Planks embossing folder (143708) to get my texture on a coloured piece of cardstock.
A quick stamp using Painted Harvest stamp set (144783) and some burlap ribbon(141487) and some gold metallic thread (138401) and I was done. The background once finished makes you want to feel it :-)
Now it’s time to hop on
over to our next participant, the very talented,
Ros Davidson.

Hi Alisha, I love how you have used the embossing paste. You are right I do want to touch it and I almost can even through my screen. It looks fantastic!
Hi Alisha, your idea is fantastic. The Embossing paste created a look like bark. Great example.
I had never thought to use embossing paste in the textured impressions embossing folder. What a great idea. I love how realistic the wooden planks look.
What fabulous texture with the background, Alisha.
Alisha this is so clever! your wood looks so realistic.
Oh Alisha, I would be too scared putting that paste in my embossing folder, but now I will have to give it a try. Yours looks amazing and so realistic, love it!
Oooh, my class ladies have been asking me to do this technique with them, but I've been too scared of the mess. I really should give it a try though - your card looks amazing!
Wow, this is soooooooooo amazing! You are so clever Alisha!
Alisha, I love the texture and rustic look of your card - just lovely!
