New 2018-2020 In Colours

Tonight the Art with Heart team are sharing creative projects featuring “in colour” theme. Check out the new 2018 - 2020 in colors and lets not forget the current 2017 - 2019 in colors. If you would like a copy of the 2018-2019 annual catalogue, contact any of the girls on the blog hop and we will get in touch with you.

Today I am using tthree of our new 2018-2020 In Colours Grapefruit Grove, Call Me Clover and Blueberry Bushell. I am not a "brights" colour person but I was amazed how much I love working with these new in colours.

My cards are also using the new Animal Outing stamp set. I am loving this set for colouring with my Stampin Blends, but I also like to make the image "pop" by doing a few stamps and cutting out pieces and just making some parts 3d. Like with my Rhino head on the Blueberry Bushell card.

These two cards are using the same stamp set  with Grapefruit Grove in colour and a few other bits and pieces. Another new set called Rooted in Nature, is used to make the background of the last card. This set is just lovely and has matching thin let dies to match the trees and leaves.

I wasnt going to include these next cards using Call Me Clover but I thought I would to show a little technique I was playing with. I wanted to use our embossing paste with the Brusho but didnt want the normal templates, so I made my own using the new Stained Glass Thinlits. I cut out the template on a scrap piece of paper, did my embossing, but once I took the template off, I loved how the Stampin Blends and bled through and the excess paste gave it a good effect, so I made a quick card using my "throw away" template. (that's the scrapbooker coming out in me, do not throw out paper as it could be used haha)

The Shimmery embossing paste with brusho is under the Doily, and the template on the bottom card.

Now it’s time to hop on over to our next participant, the very talented,
